Manon Bannerman has addressed fans directly after confirming she is stepping back from KATSEYE, reassuring supporters that she is “happy and healthy” amid growing speculation about her future.
The update comes days after the group announced her temporary hiatus, and shortly after fans noticed she had removed all references to KATSEYE from her Instagram bio.

In a message shared via Weverse, Bannerman thanked fans for their support and addressed her current situation:
“Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way.
I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Her statement confirms she remains in active discussions with her team and is focused on her wellbeing.
Instagram bio change fuels speculation
The message arrived as fans began circulating screenshots of Bannerman’s updated Instagram profile, which now reads “mademoiselle manzanita” and no longer mentions KATSEYE.
The change prompted immediate speculation online about whether her hiatus could extend beyond a temporary break. However, no official update has suggested a permanent departure.
KATSEYE confirm temporary hiatus and ongoing support
KATSEYE previously confirmed Bannerman’s hiatus in an official statement, also shared on Weverse:
“Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing.”
The group added:
“KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us… we look forward to being together again when the time is right.”

During her absence, the group will continue activities with Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae Jeung.
Pinky Up single and Coachella debut move ahead
Despite the lineup change, KATSEYE are continuing with scheduled releases and performances.
The group recently confirmed their new single Pinky Up, set for release on 9 April, just ahead of their debut at Coachella on 10 April.
The rollout has included a series of teaser visuals, including imagery inspired by the Mona Lisa and stylised concept artwork tied to the single’s title.
