TikTok has confirmed that its “Add to Music App” feature has surpassed 6 billion track saves over the past 12 months, underlining the platform’s growing influence on streaming and chart performance.
The figure covers the period from April 2025 to April 2026 and reflects how music discovery on TikTok is increasingly converting into measurable listening across major streaming services.
How TikTok is driving streaming and chart success
The “Add to Music App” feature, launched globally in 2024, allows users to save tracks directly to platforms including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
TikTok says the 6 billion saves have translated into “many, many billions more streams” through repeat listening, contributing to chart placements, global reach and artist revenues.
“TikTok is the starting point for music discovery on a global scale, and Add to Music App is turning that discovery into measurable impact for the industry. Generating over 6 billion track saves – and many multiples more in streams – in a single year shows how powerful our platform is at driving music discovery among our community, and how seamlessly we are converting intent into streaming, chart success, and revenue for artists and their partners.”
