Netflix has confirmed that KPop Demon Hunters will head out on a global concert tour in 2027 in partnership with AEG Presents.
The announcement was made during Netflix’s Upfront 2026 presentation in New York City on Wednesday 13 May 2026, where executives revealed plans for a large-scale live production inspired by the hit animated musical film.
According to Netflix, the upcoming shows will feature:
“a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.”
Netflix confirms first KPop Demon Hunters live experience
Speaking during the presentation, Netflix President of Advertising Amy Reinhard highlighted the scale of the film’s global popularity and the demand surrounding its music and characters.
“Obviously, nothing has captured the world’s attention quite like KPop Demon Hunters.”
“There were sing-a-longs, Halloween costumes, shoutouts at the U.S. Open and Buckingham Palace. There was even a 25 per cent spike in flights booked to Korea. And today, KPop Demon Hunters is still the most popular film on Netflix, and we’re really excited to announce that next year, in partnership with AEG Presents, we’re going to keep that momentum going with our very first world concert tour.”
“The live tour is going to bring fans even closer to the characters and the music that they love, and of course, we want you to be a part of that. We’ll have more information to share about the cities later this year, so stay tuned.”
At the time of writing, no tour dates or venues have been confirmed. Fans can register for updates and presale information through the official website.

The film became a major streaming and music hit
Directed by Maggie Kang, the film follows fictional K-pop girl group HUNTR/X, who secretly work as demon hunters while battling rival boy band the Saja Boys.
The film’s mix of action, comedy and K-pop-inspired music helped turn it into one of Netflix’s biggest breakout titles, with the Oscar-winning song “Golden” becoming a viral hit across social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram.
The voice cast includes Arden Cho as Rumi, with vocals provided by EJAE. May Hong plays Mira, while Audrey Nuna performs her singing voice. Ji-young Yoo voices Zoey, with vocals from Rei Ami.
Netflix also claimed during the event that the movie is now the platform’s most-watched film ever.
