Drake has released three surprise albums simultaneously, unveiling Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour in the early hours of Friday 15 May 2026.

The unexpected triple release marks one of the biggest album drops of Drake’s career and follows months of cryptic livestreams, teaser videos and public stunts linked to the Iceman era.

All three projects feature a wide range of collaborators, including Future, Sexyy Red, Molly Santana, Loe Shimmy and 21 Savage.

Production credits include Boi-1da, Ovrkast, RiotUSA and DJ Frisco954.

Drake reveals father Dennis Graham is battling cancer

The opening track on Iceman, titled Make Them Cry, includes a deeply personal lyric in which Drake reveals his father, Dennis Graham, is currently battling cancer.

“My dad got cancer right now, we battlin’ stages. Trust me when I say there’s plenty things I’d rather be facing (For real)/And this time, ask me to dig deeper, I’ll gladly explain it.”

The revelation immediately became one of the most discussed moments surrounding the release online.

The Iceman rollout included livestreams, viral stunts and hidden clues

Drake first launched the Iceman era in July 2025 through a livestream series that gradually previewed new music and teased what he described as “back-to-back-to-back” albums.

Early tracks introduced during the streams included What Did I Miss?, followed later by Which One featuring Central Cee and Dog House with July Wolf and Yeat.

The latest livestream episode featured appearances from comedian Shane Gillis, media personality DJ Akademiks and Drake’s son Adonis Graham.

Fans used sledgehammers and blowtorches to crack Drake’s ice block stunt

One of the most unusual moments in the campaign came in April 2026, when Drake’s team installed a giant ice structure in downtown Toronto.

The rapper claimed the release date for the albums was hidden inside the block.

He posted on Instagram:

“Release Date Inside. 81 BOND STREET DOWNTOWN TORONTO (sic)”

According to Rolling Stone, some fans attempted to break into the structure using sledgehammers, while one reportedly used a blowtorch in an effort to uncover the hidden date.

Warning signs placed around the installation reportedly read:

“Danger Do Not Touch. This ice structure may break or collapse without warning, and falling ice or sharp fragments may cause serious injury or death.”

“Do not touch or interact with the structure. Any contact with the structure is at your own risk.”

Drake’s first solo albums since For All The Dogs

The triple project release marks Drake’s first solo studio albums since 2023’s For All The Dogs.

Streaming numbers and chart projections for the three albums are expected to emerge over the weekend as fans begin dissecting the releases track by track.
