BLACKPINK’s Jennie will release a new three-track solo EP, Fallen Angel, on 28 August 28, marking her latest solo project following the release of her debut album Ruby in 2025.
The digital EP will feature “FALLEN ANGEL”, “HEAVEN” and “Less Than a Lover”, with a music video for the title track also scheduled to arrive on 28 August.
Jennie announces Fallen Angel EP
Jennie announced the project through the social media accounts of Odd Atelier, the company she founded.
The announcement described the release as:
“A gift from JENNIE, with love”
Fallen Angel will be released digitally and will contain three tracks. Jennie has also confirmed that the EP’s title track will receive an accompanying music video on release day.
The new project follows her debut solo album, Ruby, which expanded her profile outside BLACKPINK and featured collaborations with several major artists.
BLACKPINK released Deadline in February
Jennie’s new solo release arrives months after BLACKPINK returned with their latest mini-album, Deadline, in February 2026.
The five-track project followed the group’s 2025 single “JUMP” and included “GO”, “Me and my”, “Champion” and “Fxxxboy”.
Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé had been balancing BLACKPINK’s group activity with their individual careers, with the Deadline era arriving after the group’s world tour concluded at Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong on 26 January 2026.
YG Entertainment said the members had worked on the record alongside their demanding touring schedule.
“Even amid the intense schedule of a large-scale world tour, the members devoted significant time and effort to perfecting this album. We are confident it is a body of work that encapsulates both the individual musical capabilities of the four members and their synergy as a team. We ask for your continued support as BLACKPINK once again leaves a meaningful mark on the global music industry.”
BLACKPINK members continue their solo careers
The four BLACKPINK members have continued developing their individual careers alongside the group’s activities.
Rosé released her debut solo album rosie, which included her Grammy-nominated collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.”
Lisa followed with her solo album Alter Ego and also made her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus, with the third season filmed in Thailand.
Jisoo released her solo EP Amortage, while Jennie launched her own debut solo album Ruby.
Lisa previously revealed that the four members had returned to the studio and were excited about making music together.
Speaking to Variety, she said:
“Actually, we were in the studio a few days ago.
“We’re all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the Blinks. We can’t wait to see them.”
When is Jennie’s Fallen Angel EP released?
Jennie’s Fallen Angel EP will be released digitally on Friday 28 August 2026.
The three-track release will feature:
