Karol G, Rosalia, Jorge Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso have each received seven nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards, tying for the most nominations among performing artists.
All four artists are nominated across the three major categories of Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Producer and songwriter Edgar Barrera is the overall leading nominee with 10 nominations.
Karol G and Rosalia among leading Latin Grammy nominees
Karol G earned seven nominations following a landmark year that saw her become the first Latina artist to headline Coachella.
She is nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for Coleccionando Heridas, while Rosalia received nominations in both categories for La Perla.
The pair are joined by Jorge Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso at the top of the performing-artist nominations with seven nods each.
Edgar Barrera leads overall nominations
While the four artists share the top spot among performers, Edgar Barrera has the highest overall nomination total with 10.
The songwriter and producer has continued to be a major figure behind some of Latin music’s biggest releases, earning more nominations than any individual performing artist this year.
Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, announced the 2026 nominees on Wednesday.

Notable Latin Grammy omissions
One of the most notable omissions highlighted by Billboard is Romeo Santos and Prince Royce’s Better Late Than Never.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Tropical Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart, but did not receive any Latin Grammy nominations.
When are the 2026 Latin Grammys?
Voting for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards begins on 1 October 2026.
The ceremony will take place in Las Vegas on 12 November 2026, when this year’s nominees compete for the Latin Recording Academy’s major awards.
