Vinyl Souk Records is calling on UAE-based independent artists to submit music for Made In The Emirates Volume 3, the latest instalment of its compilation series documenting independent music created in the United Arab Emirates. Submissions are open until 30 November 2026, with selected tracks set for worldwide release on vinyl and digital formats.
Vinyl Souk opens the door to experimental UAE music
Made In The Emirates has already produced two compilation albums showcasing different sides of the UAE’s independent music scene. Volume 3 will focus on music that sits outside straightforward genre definitions.
Vinyl Souk Records is specifically looking for ambient electronic music, beats, boom bap, left field hip hop, rap, spoken word, experimental electronica, sound design and other work that challenges easy categorisation.
The call is aimed at artists based in the UAE, giving independent musicians an opportunity to have their work considered for an international physical and digital release.
What artists can submit
Artists can submit one track per submission form for consideration.
The open call is looking for:

- Boom bap
- Left field hip hop
- Rap
- Spoken word
- Experimental electronica
- Sound design
- Experimental and genre-defying music
The project is particularly suited to artists working across electronic, hip hop, experimental and underground sounds rather than within conventional genre boundaries.

The deadline for submissions is 30 November 2026.
Selected tracks will be released worldwide through Vinyl Souk Records on both vinyl and digital formats, giving participating artists the chance to feature on the third Made In The Emirates compilation.
