Victoria Beckham has sparked speculation about a possible music comeback after being pictured recording vocals in a studio with her son Cruz Beckham. The former Spice Girl was photographed behind a microphone by Cruz, who captioned the image on Instagram, “Yeah we got posh back in the studio.”
The photo, shared on Monday 28 September 2026, has prompted speculation that Victoria may have recorded vocals for a new song with her 21-year-old son. However, neither Cruz nor Victoria has confirmed that a new release featuring the former Posh Spice is on the way.

Victoria became one of the world’s biggest pop stars as part of the Spice Girls before focusing on her fashion career.
The new studio photo marks a notable return to a musical setting, although it is not yet clear whether Victoria’s vocals will appear on one of Cruz’s upcoming releases or whether the session was simply a collaboration between mother and son.
Cruz has been developing his own music career over the past year with his band The Breakers, releasing the Wear and Tear EP in August and performing at Reading and Leeds, Lollapalooza and a series of headline shows.
Cruz Beckham prepares for UK tour
Cruz and The Breakers are also preparing to hit the road with The Reytons next month.
The Rotherham rock band invited Cruz to join their upcoming tour after the two acts became friends over the summer. The tour will also feature Manchester artist Alex Spencer.
The Reytons frontman Jonny Yerrell recently defended Cruz’s musical credentials and said the upcoming shows should focus on the music rather than his family connections.
“Cruz is an incredibly talented artist who deserves to be recognised outside the family name. We both receive a lot of criticism from opposite ends of the spectrum and we’re fully expecting a lot more from this announcement… but this tour is about good people coming together to enjoy themselves! And that’s what we’re going to do regardless.”
The tour begins in Dublin on 9 October before travelling to Belfast, Hull, Edinburgh, Cardiff and London.
The run concludes at Co-op Live in Manchester on 30 October.
Could Victoria Beckham appear on Cruz’s music?
For now, the Instagram image is the only indication that Victoria has recorded vocals with Cruz, leaving her potential involvement in his music unconfirmed.
If Victoria does appear on an upcoming Cruz Beckham release, it would mark her first notable return to recorded music since her years with the Spice Girls.
For Cruz, meanwhile, the studio session comes as he continues building a career separate from his family’s celebrity profile, with his first major UK tour with The Breakers now approaching.
