The Sisters of Mercy have announced two headline shows at London’s Camden Roundhouse, with Andrew Eldritch and the band set to perform on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September 2027.
The concerts will bring the influential rock group back to the capital for two nights at the historic venue. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 6 November 2026 through MyTicket.
The Sisters Of Mercy return to London
Formed in Leeds in 1980, The Sisters of Mercy have spent more than four decades developing a distinctive sound that combines post-punk, psychedelia, metal and dance influences.
Drawing inspiration from artists including David Bowie, Slade and The Velvet Underground, the band established themselves as one of the defining acts of the alternative and gothic rock scenes. Their music is built around Andrew Eldritch’s distinctive vocals and the group’s use of the drum machine known as Doktor Avalanche.
Floodland and Vision Thing cemented the band’s legacy
The Sisters of Mercy reached a wider international audience with their 1987 album Floodland, which featured some of their best-known recordings.
Tracks including ‘Dominion’, ‘Lucretia My Reflection’ and the ten-minute ‘This Corrosion’ remain central to the band’s catalogue.
They followed Floodland with Vision Thing in 1990, a heavier record that further established their influence across alternative, gothic and industrial music.
Although the band moved away from traditional record label releases after the 1990s, they have continued to tour and develop new material. Recent performances have featured songs that sit alongside the music from their classic albums, as well as newer compositions.
Who is in The Sisters of Mercy’s current touring line-up?
Andrew Eldritch leads the current live line-up, joined by guitarists Ben Christo, Kai and Chris Catalyst.
Doktor Avalanche remains at the centre of the band’s sound, while the live production incorporates cinematic lighting and visual effects.
The September 2027 concerts are expected to bring together established favourites, deeper cuts and newer material, giving fans a chance to hear the band’s different eras represented in a live setting.
