Oasis Streams Skyrocket By 750% After Reunion Tour Reveal

Oasis didn’t just break the internet with their reunion announcement, they blew the roof off Spotify and Apple Music too.

Within an hour of revealing plans for their long-awaited Oasis Live ’25 tour, the band’s streaming numbers surged by a jaw-dropping 750 percent, according to Big Brother Recordings.

“Streams went up 750 percent in the hour following the tour announcement and there were over 11 million Oasis streams on the day the tickets went on sale,”

Oasis will kick off their reunion tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Friday 4 July 2025, and anticipation has already turned into serious listening. While the Britpop legends have always been a staple of UK playlists, this sudden spike is unprecedented; especially for a band that hadn’t released a new studio album in nearly two decades.

Before the reunion was confirmed, only three Oasis songs were performing notably well on streaming platforms, with the rest of their catalogue lagging behind artists like Coldplay and Imagine Dragons. That all changed once the band officially announced they were getting back together.

And it’s not just digital. Oasis vinyl is also flying off the shelves.

“The uplift we’ve seen since the tour announcement has been staggering, vinyl particularly. It’s mad how much it sells. It’s also really important to Noel and Liam… they still view the album as a physical product.”
Sarah Mansfield, Big Brother Recordings.

Oasis fans have long been known for their loyalty, but the numbers suggest something else entirely… a generational rediscovery. For younger listeners raised on TikTok and algorithmic playlists, this tour is an invitation to go deeper than Wonderwall. And for original fans, it’s a loud reminder of what they’ve been missing.
