The Beach Boys will perform in Dubai for the first time with a one-night-only show at Coca-Cola Arena on 11 June 2026, celebrating 60 years of their landmark album Pet Sounds.
The legendary California group will bring their catalogue of classic hits to the UAE as part of a special anniversary performance marking one of the most influential albums ever made.
A defining band of American pop
Formed in California in 1961, The Beach Boys became one of the most commercially successful American bands of the 1960s and 1970s. Their music helped define the sound of West Coast pop and shaped generations of artists that followed.
Across their career, the band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and earned more than 33 Gold and Platinum awards from the Recording Industry Association of America.
They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards in 2001.
Celebrating 60 years of Pet Sounds
The Dubai performance will also mark the 60th anniversary of Pet Sounds, the group’s groundbreaking 1966 album widely credited with transforming modern pop production.
Songs from the record are expected to feature alongside some of the band’s most recognisable hits, including:
- Surfin’ U.S.A.
- Fun, Fun, Fun
- I Get Around
- Good Vibrations
- Wouldn’t It Be Nice
The concert will also coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States, adding another celebratory theme to the evening.
Mike Love leads the current touring lineup
The current touring version of The Beach Boys is led by founding member Mike Love.
Love said the band has been watching its fanbase grow in the region.
“Dubai has shown us so much love from afar, and we’ve been blown away watching our audience there grow year after year. Streaming in the UAE has climbed by double digits for the past four years. We can’t wait to bring The Beach Boys to Coca-Cola Arena for our first-ever show in the city.”
The touring lineup also includes musical director Brian Eichenberger, Christian Love, Tim Bonhomme, Jon Bolton, Keith Hubacher, Randy Leago, John Wedemeyer and Chris Cron.
