Alison Moyet has announced a major 34-date headline tour across Europe, the UK and Ireland in 2026, centred on songs from her work with Yazoo alongside material from her solo albums the minutes and Other.

The tour begins in September 2026 and will focus heavily on the synth-pop catalogue that Moyet recorded with Vince Clarke in the early 1980s, including songs from the albums Upstairs at Eric’s and You and Me Both. It also marks one of the rare occasions where a full set built around Yazoo material will be performed live.

Tour focused on Yazoo and electronic-era solo work

The new tour, titled Songs Of Yazoo, The Minutes & Other, will revisit music from Yazoo’s brief but influential career while blending it with tracks from Moyet’s later electronic-leaning solo albums.

While Yazoo’s biggest hits such as Only You and Don’t Go have appeared in Moyet’s live sets over the years, much of the duo’s catalogue has rarely been performed since the band’s early tours in the 1980s.

“While a handful of Yazoo hits have featured regularly in Alison’s live sets, much of the band’s material has rarely been performed outside of their two brief tours. This is a unique opportunity to experience songs from ‘Upstairs at Eric’s’ and ‘You and Me Both’ live. Additionally, select songs from Alison’s ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’ albums will complete the set as perfect partners for this electronica-based tour”.

Songs from Moyet’s solo records the minutes (2013) and Other (2017) will also form part of the setlist.

“Many years touring the same pool of songs and I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes. No bones… – Alison Moyet, 2026

Touring band and musical director

The touring line-up includes several long-time collaborators from Moyet’s recent live projects.

Musical director Sean McGhee, who has worked with Moyet since 2013, returns for the tour. Multi-instrumentalist Brendan Cox, who performed on Moyet’s Key tour, will also be part of the live band.

Drummer Paul Jones, who previously performed with Moyet when she appeared as a special guest on the Tears for Fears tour in 2019, will also join the group.

Ticket presale and general sale details

Fans on Moyet’s official mailing list will get early access to tickets through an artist presale starting at 10am on Wednesday, 11 March.

Any remaining tickets will go on general sale at 10am on Friday 13 March.

Before the European headline tour begins, Moyet will also appear as a special guest on the Generations Tour in North America.

She will join The Human League and Soft Cell for a 21-date tour across the United States and Canada, performing at venues including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
