AC/DC Announce 2025 Australian Tour: First Homecoming Shows In A Decade

AC/DC are finally coming home.

For the first time since 2015, the legendary Aussie rock band will tour their native Australia, bringing the PWR UP tour to stadiums across the country this November and December.

The long-awaited homecoming begins on 12 November at Melbourne Cricket Ground, before hitting Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and wrapping up on 14 December at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

The tour supports the band’s 2020 album Power Up, their first studio release since 2014’s Rock or Bust. While global legs of the PWR UP tour have been met with thunderous reception, the upcoming run marks their first Australian dates in a full decade.

Amyl and the Sniffers to open all shows

High-octane punk outfit Amyl and the Sniffers will join AC/DC on the road, opening all five stadium shows.

Frontwoman Amy Taylor shared her disbelief and excitement on Instagram:

“AC/DC! The best rock and roll band in the world. I just can’t believe it. I am so excited.”

“Five years ago we covered the same three AC/DC songs on the back of a truck up the Canning Highway [Perth] for two hours straight. A band’s music that’s been weaved through my whole life.”

The pairing is a major co-sign for the Melbourne-based punks, whose explosive live shows and DIY ethos have earned them global attention.
