Amy Winehouse’s landmark album Back To Black will receive a 20th anniversary deluxe reissue on 27 October, featuring previously unheard demos, rare B-sides and a full 2007 live performance from Amsterdam.
The expanded release will revisit Winehouse’s defining second album with three discs of studio recordings, alternate versions and live material from the Back To Black era.
What’s included in the Back To Black 20th anniversary edition
The first disc contains the original 11-track Back To Black album, including “Rehab”, “You Know I’m No Good”, “Back To Black”, “Love Is A Losing Game” and “Tears Dry On Their Own”.
The second disc expands the era with B-sides, bonus tracks and demos. Among the previously unreleased or rare material are original demos of “Rehab”, “You Know I’m No Good”, “Me And Mr Jones”, “Back To Black”, “Love Is A Losing Game” and “Tears Dry”.
The collection also includes “Valerie” from BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, alongside tracks such as “Cupid”, “Monkey Man”, “Hey Little Rich Girl” and “You’re Wondering Now”.
The third disc captures Winehouse performing live at Paradiso in Amsterdam on 8 February 2007, during the Back To Black tour.
The 14-song set includes “Addicted”, “Tears Dry On Their Own”, “Wake Up Alone”, “Back To Black”, “You Know I’m No Good”, “Rehab”, “Love Is A Losing Game” and “Valerie”.
Rare Amy Winehouse photos and new reflections
The anniversary project also expands the visual story surrounding Back To Black.
Previously unseen photographs by Mischa Richter and Alex Lake, whose work helped define Winehouse’s visual identity during the album era, will feature in the new editions.
Original producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi have also contributed reflections on Winehouse, her artistry and the recording sessions behind the album.
The reissue will be available across several vinyl formats, including a clear 3LP edition and limited one-LP pressings such as the Chalkboard Marble version.
A special Zoetrope edition, available exclusively through Winehouse’s official store, creates an animated visual effect of the singer when the record spins on a turntable.

Amy Winehouse’s estate faces fresh legal controversy
The anniversary release arrives as Winehouse’s estate has also been the subject of recent legal proceedings.
Her father, Mitch Winehouse, was ordered to pay close to £1 million to two of Amy’s longtime friends following a High Court dispute over the sale of items connected with the singer.
Winehouse had accused Naomi Parry and Catriona Gourlay of profiting from the sale of Amy’s personal belongings. Judge Sarah Clarke KC ruled on 29 July 2026, that Mitch Winehouse had known about the planned sale and had pursued what she described as a “weak claim”.
The judge also said he had “deliberately turned this case into large-scale and expensive litigation” and ordered him to cover the defendants’ legal costs on an indemnity basis.
Winehouse died aged 27 on 23 July 2011. Her legacy has continued through her music, archival releases and the work of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
