Cruz Beckham has released his new single Waste Your Pain, alongside an official music video filmed during his recent UK tour with his band, The Breakers.
The track follows a run of live shows across the UK and continues his push into alternative guitar-driven pop.
New single builds on growing momentum
Waste Your Pain was produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, known for their work with artists including Kim Gordon, Joji and Charli xcx.
The song centres on themes of self-acceptance and moving forward, combining bright guitar lines with an upbeat rhythm. Lyrically, it leans into a sense of release, with moments reflecting on being able to “finally see us moving on” and feeling “free at last”.
Video captures life on the road
The accompanying video offers a behind-the-scenes look at life on tour, with footage of the band performing, travelling and interacting off stage.
It draws inspiration from Risky Business, echoing the carefree tone of the track. Each member of The Breakers features throughout, with a mix of performance shots and candid moments that highlight the group dynamic.
UK tour sets foundation for next phase
The release follows Beckham’s debut headline tour, which saw him perform at key grassroots venues across the UK, including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and Komedia.
The run concluded with three sold-out shows at Courtyard Theatre, signalling early demand as he builds a live following.
Previous releases include For Your Love, Optics and Lick The Toad, all contributing to a steadily developing catalogue.
