Erykah Badu and Henry Lau are among the headline names set to perform at the very first SXSW London, taking place from 2-7 June 2025, across 25 venues in Shoreditch.
Marking the European debut of the iconic Austin-born festival, SXSW London 2025 promises six days of live music, talks, art, tech and industry networking. The event’s highly anticipated Music Festival strand will feature more than 600 live gigs, kicking off with a special Opening Performance by Henry Lau and closing with a headline DJ set from Erykah Badu, performing as her alter ego DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown.
Erykah Badu Headlines House of R&B Stage
Five-time GRAMMY-winning neo-soul icon Erykah Badu will bring her signature cosmic energy to the House of R&B stage, co-curated by DJ Ace’s Everything R&B platform. Badu’s DJ set is set to be one of the most sought-after events of the week, with fans expecting an eclectic, genre-blending performance celebrating her musical evolution.
“Badu is one of our most important living artists,” said Adem Holness, Head of Music at SXSW London. “To have her close out the inaugural festival is unbelievable.”
