Franz Ferdinand are heading to Dubai for a one-night-only concert at Coca-Cola Arena on Saturday 13 December 2025. The Scottish indie rock icons will close out their 2025 world tour with this exclusive UAE performance, delivering a setlist packed with fan favourites and tracks from their latest album, The Human Fear.
With over two decades of music behind them, Franz Ferdinand remain one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK post-punk revival. Their breakthrough single Take Me Out helped define the sound of the early 2000s and catapulted them onto international stages.
This Dubai show marks their long-awaited return to the UAE, and it’s shaping up to be one of the year’s must-see gigs.
“Making this album was about pushing ourselves,” frontman Alex Kapranos recently said. “We wanted to capture something raw, something that hits even harder live.”
Fans can expect a high-energy set featuring songs from across the band’s six studio albums, including:
- Take Me Out
- Do You Want To
- No You Girls
- Jacqueline
- The Dark of the Matinée
- Tracks from The Human Fear
The current lineup includes founding members Alex Kapranos and Bob Hardy, alongside Julian Corrie, Dino Bardot, and Audrey Tait. Together, they’ve brought a fresh edge to the band’s live sound, while staying true to the groove-driven rock that made Franz Ferdinand festival favourites around the world.
“We recorded most of The Human Fear live in the studio,” Kapranos explained. “You’ll feel that energy when we play it.”
