The clip shows Styles running confidently onto the stage ready to begin As It Was, only to realise moments later that he wasn’t holding his microphone.
Without missing a beat, the singer quickly ran back to retrieve it before returning to the front of the stage to continue the performance, earning a huge reaction from the Wembley audience.
The light-hearted moment is already attracting attention online and looks set to become one of the standout viral clips from the residency.
Record-breaking Wembley residency
Styles is currently in the middle of his Together, Together global residency, which includes a historic 12-night run at Wembley Stadium between 12 June and 4 July.
The residency has already rewritten the venue’s record books. Styles became the first artist to perform 12 shows at Wembley Stadium in a single year, surpassing Coldplay’s previous record of 10 nights set in 2025.
He has also broken the record for the most Wembley Stadium shows by a solo artist during a single run, overtaking Taylor Swift’s previous mark of eight performances.
Across the 12 dates, Styles is expected to perform to more than one million fans, making it one of the biggest concert residencies ever staged in the UK.
