Harry Styles has delivered the strongest global debut of his career with new album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., smashing chart records across multiple territories within days of release.
The album has already surpassed one million units worldwide, topping charts across Europe, North America and beyond, and setting a new commercial benchmark for the former One Direction star.
Massive US opening and historic chart run
In the United States, the record debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, shifting more than 430,000 units in its first week. It marks the biggest opening week of the year and gives Styles his fourth consecutive solo number one debut.
With that, he extends his record as the first UK male artist and only the second male artist overall to debut at number one with his first four albums since Nielsen Music began tracking sales electronically in 1991.
The release also sets a new benchmark for first week vinyl sales by a male artist in the US, overtaking the record previously held by Harry’s House.
Global chart domination across 19 countries
Internationally, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. has debuted at number one in 19 additional countries, quickly becoming the biggest selling album of the year in markets including:
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Ireland
- Netherlands
- Sweden
- New Zealand
- Canada
- Spain
The album has also topped charts in major European markets including Germany, France and Italy, while leading the Spotify Album Chart in the Czech Republic.
Record breaking week in the UK
In the United Kingdom, the album becomes Styles’ third number one, shifting 183,000 copies in its first week. That’s a significant jump from the 113,000 units posted by Harry’s House.
It also delivers:
- The highest first week vinyl sales for a British artist this century
- A rare chart double, with both the album and single American Girls hitting number one simultaneously
The opening marks the biggest week for a male solo artist in the UK and Australia since Ed Sheeran’s ÷ in 2017.
Europe sees major growth across the board
Across Europe, the numbers show serious growth compared to his previous releases.
In Germany, the album is now the best selling by a male solo artist in nearly six years, and the biggest by an international male act in nine.
Sales have:
- Doubled in Germany, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland
- Tripled in the Netherlands
It’s a clear signal that Styles isn’t just maintaining momentum, he’s scaling it.
The bigger picture
With Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., Harry Styles has moved into a different bracket commercially. The combination of huge first week numbers, vinyl demand and consistent international performance puts this release alongside the biggest global album launches of the streaming era.
