YouTuber-turned-musician, James Marriott, lands his first Official UK Albums Chart Number 1 as his sophomore LP – Don’t Tell The Dog – dominates vinyl and indie store sales.
His chart-topping success comes after his 2023 debut album Are We There Yet?, which broke into the UK Top 20.
The Swiss-born, Brighton-based artist, beat heavyweight competition this week to land at Number 1.
“Thank you so, so much for my first-ever Official Number 1 album,” Marriott said in a video shared by Official Charts. “It’s been such an amazing week travelling up and down the country, doing a little show. I’m just mind blown. Thank you so much for supporting me over the last week, and the last few years. This Number 1 Award goes out to all of you!”
