Karol G has confirmed that her next studio album, No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, will be released on 7 August 2026. The Colombian superstar announced the release date during a concert at Toronto’s Rogers Centre before later unveiling the album artwork on Instagram.

The new record marks Karol G’s latest project following months of work in the studio and will arrive as she continues her current tour.

Karol G announces new album during Toronto concert

Speaking to fans at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, Karol G surprised the audience by revealing the album’s title and release date.

She told the crowd:

“I have an announcement to share, Toronto, and after this, I have a gift for you, too. I’ve been working on a project for a couple of months.”

The singer then confirmed the album is complete and ready for release.

“I’ve been locked in for months making new music. For months, I’ve been preparing a segment that will form part of this tour. I want to announce that on August 7, my new album will come out.

“It’s an album that I can’t wait to sing with all of you. It’s called No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto.”

The Spanish-language title translates to I Don’t Regret Feeling So Much.

Shortly after the concert announcement, Karol G shared the album cover with fans on Instagram, officially confirming the project across her social media channels.

New music follows months in the studio

Karol G explained that she had spent several months focused on recording new material while also preparing a new section of her live show.

Although she has yet to reveal the full tracklist or any guest collaborations, the album is expected to become a central part of the remaining dates on her current tour.

Fans can expect more details, including potential singles and artwork, ahead of the 7 August release.

Karol G says music gave her a sense of purpose

The album announcement comes just months after Karol G received the International Artist Award of Excellence at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Accepting the honour from John Legend, she reflected on the impact music has had on her life and career.

“Wow. What an honour, John, that you gave me this award. It’s a legend. This is going to be a legend moment in my career, for sure.”

She continued:

“I feel very, very grateful. First of all, thank you, God. He allows me to live the most incredible, amazing experience in my life. I want to say that more than anything, this career has given me the most important thing in my life: purpose.”

Karol G also spoke about the connection she has built with listeners through her songs.

“I found purpose through my music. I’m just happy that I can perform a song, and I can say things in my songs that become a voice for a lot of people. A healing place, a safe place, and I just think that my life is meaningful because of my music and to help others through it.”
