Louis Tomlinson Scores Second UK Number 1 Album With How Did I Get Here?

Louis Tomlinson has landed his second UK Number 1 album as How Did I Get Here? debuts at the top of the Official Albums Chart this week.

The Doncaster-born artist’s third solo studio album goes straight in at Number 1, following the chart-topping success of Faith In The Future in 2022. His solo debut, Walls, previously peaked at Number 4 in 2020.

The new release marks another major chart milestone for Tomlinson as a solo artist, continuing a steady rise since his post–One Direction career began.

Speaking exclusively to Official Charts about the achievement, Tomlinson said:

“I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but How Did I Get Here is this week’s Official Number 1 album. I’m so incredibly grateful for all the passion and dedication of the fans to help make it all possible. THANK YOU!”

Alongside the Number 1 album, How Did I Get Here? also tops this week’s Official Vinyl Albums Chart, selling the most vinyl copies in the UK over the past seven days.
