Morgan Wade Announces New Album The Party Is Over (Recovered) – Out 1 August

Morgan Wade is making a powerful return with her fifth studio album, The Party Is Over (Recovered), set for release on 1 August 2025. Known for her raw emotional honesty and Americana-meets-alt-rock style, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter dives deep into her past with a collection of reimagined songs that offer a window into her early career—and her soul.

The album includes the title track, released today, as well as fan-favourite ‘East Coast’, blending Wade’s signature vulnerability with gritty, guitar-driven soundscapes. Drawing from sessions that began when she first signed her major-label deal, The Party Is Over (Recovered) breathes new life into songs that “still speak to the person she is today.”

“A lot of you have been here for a long time, listening and supporting me,” Wade shared in a heartfelt Instagram post. “Some of you were around before I ever put out my debut record. You heard demos and early recordings that no longer exist. I wanted to bring those songs back to life and share that chapter of my life—plus throw in a few new ones.”

Described as “an intense exploration of her psyche’s recesses,” the 11-track album is both a retrospective and a rebirth.

Emotional, Reflective, Raw

Wade’s lyrics continue to pull no punches. On the title track, she sings:

“Another year and I can’t leave you alone / And why would I want to?…
When the lights all dim and the party is over / Baby I still want you when I’m sober.”

With The Party Is Over (Recovered), Morgan Wade invites fans into a deeply personal space—both musically and emotionally. Whether you’ve been with her since the demo days or just discovered her recent work, this album promises to be one of 2025’s most emotionally resonant releases.
