Olly Murs is back with brand new music — and a bold new chapter. The chart-topping singer has debuted his latest single, ‘Save Me’, live on stage during his 2025 UK tour, calling it the beginning of a “new Murs era.”
Speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre column, Olly explained his motivation behind the track:
“It’s a bold statement but the industry has changed so much with streaming. With this song I wanted to go back to basics. I wanted my fans to hear it before anyone else.”
The singer, who first found fame on The X Factor in 2009, is currently performing across major UK venues including The O2 in London, and says Save Me captures a more personal, stripped-back side of his music.

“It’s about going on a night out after having a row with the missus and it goes horribly wrong,” Olly revealed, adding that performing it live for the first time has been a nerve-racking experience.
Despite the pressure, Olly says he’s confident in the track and excited about what it represents for the future of his music.
“The song is a new Murs era. But I’m secretly excited about it.”
