Quavo has released his new album QRÖMELIFE, with Pharrell Williams serving as executive producer and a guest lineup that includes Offset, A$AP Rocky, Future, Lil Baby, Tyler, The Creator, Yung Miami, Justin Timberlake and T.I.

The 14-track album brings together Quavo’s melodic approach, Atlanta rap influences and a more experimental sound developed through his collaborations over the years.

He subsequently released “Trance” and performed “Backwards” featuring T.I. live during WWE’s Sunday Night Main Event.

Quavo Confirms Final Migos Project

The release of QRÖMELIFE comes shortly after Quavo discussed plans for the future of Migos.

Quavo has confirmed that he and Offset intend to reunite for a final Migos project that will include previously recorded vocals from Takeoff, who died in 2022 aged 28.

Speaking to V-103’s DJ Greg Street earlier this month, Quavo said:

“We coming back. We’re going to do it one more time. Long live the Rocket … There’s more. We going to tour. We going to do it right.”

Quavo later discussed the project during an interview with Hot 97’s Nessa, explaining that the group wants to make sure Takeoff’s contribution is handled appropriately.

“We want to make sure we honour him and make sure we have the right tools to make the music sound original as if he was here.”

He added:

“We owe the fans at least the music. What he was working on and what we still had. The legacy must still go on.”

The project will follow Migos’ 2021 album Culture III. Quavo also indicated that a tour is planned around the forthcoming record.

For now, QRÖMELIFE marks the latest chapter in Quavo’s solo career, while the planned Migos project will bring Quavo, Offset and Takeoff’s recorded work together for what has been described as the group’s final release.
