Rod Stewart To Receive Lifetime Achievement Award At 2025 American Music Awards

Sir Rod Stewart will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, organisers have confirmed.

The legendary singer, best known for hits like Maggie May and Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?, will accept the accolade at this year’s AMAs in Las Vegas and perform one of his signature songs during the ceremony.

Rod’s upcoming appearance at the AMAs will be his first in over 20 years and comes just weeks before he headlines Glastonbury Festival’s iconic Sunday afternoon legends slot in June.

Sir Rod Stewart is a master showman whose charisma and energy have defied time and embody the very spirit of rock and roll,”
said executive producers Barry Adelman and Alexi Mazareas of Dick Clark Productions.

“We are looking forward to another epic performance on the AMAs stage as well as celebrating his incredible body of work when he receives the Lifetime Achievement Award.”

With over 120 million records sold worldwide, Stewart is one of the best-selling recording artists of all time. From his early days in The Faces to his decades-long solo success, his influence on pop and rock music is indisputable.

The 2025 AMAs will take place at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas on 26 May with Jennifer Lopez set to host the show.
