Scorpions are returning to Abu Dhabi this October, bringing their 60th anniversary tour to the UAE capital for one night only. The German hard rock legends will take the stage at Etihad Arena, Yas Island on 21 October 2025, as part of their Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions world tour.
Before Abu Dhabi, the band will kick off the Middle East leg of the tour in Cairo on 15 October, performing at the New Administrative Capital. More dates in the region are expected to be announced soon.
“This tour is our way of saying thank you to the fans who’ve kept us rocking for six decades,” the band said in a statement via Live Nation.
Founded in 1965 in Hanover, Germany, Scorpions have built one of the most successful legacies in rock history. With over 100 million records sold worldwide, they’ve left an indelible mark on global music culture. The band’s catalogue spans generations, from the era-defining ballad “Wind of Change” to stadium-shaking anthems like “Rock You Like a Hurricane” and “No One Like You”.
Scorpions are no strangers to the region. They played to a sold-out crowd in Dubai back in 2017, and returned to the UAE more recently for a one-night show at Etihad Arena in May 2024. Their upcoming 2025 date in Abu Dhabi feels especially symbolic, marking exactly 60 years since the band first formed.
The Coming Home tour is not just a victory lap. It’s a full-scale celebration of the group’s musical journey, one that has seen them perform in over 100 countries.
Tickets for the Abu Dhabi show go on general sale on Monday 14 July.
