Glastonbury Festival co-organiser Emily Eavis was presented with her Honour by Elbow frontman Guy Garvey.

Songwriter and producer MNEK received his Honour from frequent collaborator Becky Hill.

Alongside his extensive catalogue as a writer and producer, MNEK was recognised for supporting LGBTQIA+ creators through his annual Proud Sound writing camp.

The 2026 honours also recognised two senior figures working in music rights and publishing.

Sentric Music CEO Chris Meehan received an Honour for his work widening access to independent music publishing and improving royalty transparency for songwriters.

Mulaa Joans Performs At Ivors Academy Honours

The ceremony also featured a performance from 19-year-old singer-songwriter Mulaa Joans, who performed her song “Birthday Makeup”.

The seven new honourees join Elton John, who received an Ivors Academy Honour earlier in 2026 and was subsequently named the Academy’s first-ever President.

The honours continue the tradition of the Gold Badge Awards, which were established in 1974 to recognise people who have made a significant contribution to music and the creative community.
