Dolly Parton has expanded her business empire with the launch of a new coffee brand inspired by one of her most iconic songs.
The country music legend announced a partnership with Community Coffee to create Cup of Ambition, a new range of coffee products named after the famous lyric from her 1980 hit 9 to 5.
The collection will feature light, medium and dark roast blends and will initially be available from 24 June at Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop in Nashville, Tennessee, before a wider rollout across the United States.

Parton explained that coffee has long been an essential part of her daily routine, helping power the ideas and ambitions that have defined her extraordinary career.
“I’ve spent a lifetime workin’ 9 to 5, 5 to 9, and every hour in between! It takes a lot of energy to pursue your passion and navigate each day.
“That’s why I wanted to make a coffee that works just as hard. You know, I begin each morning with a head full of dreams, a notepad full of ideas, and a cup or two of coffee.
“Whether you’re chasing dreams, tackling that to-do list, or just enjoying a quiet morning at home, I hope it brings a smile with every sip.”
The brand’s name is a direct nod to 9 to 5, the Grammy-winning hit Parton wrote for the hit workplace comedy in which she starred alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.

The new venture sees Parton teaming up with Community Coffee, one of America’s longest-established family-owned coffee companies.

The launch adds another chapter to Parton’s growing portfolio of business interests, which already includes publishing, entertainment, tourism, food products and her hugely successful Dollywood theme park.
The singer has built a reputation as one of the most commercially successful artists in country music history, turning her brand into a global business while maintaining a close connection with her fanbase.
Dolly Parton keeps a low profile following difficult year
The coffee announcement comes during a quieter period for Parton professionally.
In recent months, the Jolene singer stepped back from public appearances and cancelled her planned Las Vegas residency after experiencing unspecified health issues.
The past year has also been marked by personal loss following the death of her husband, Carl Dean, who passed away aged 82. The couple had been married for nearly 60 years and maintained one of the longest-lasting relationships in the entertainment industry.
With Cup of Ambition, Parton is once again proving that her entrepreneurial drive remains as strong as ever, nearly five decades after she first encouraged the world to pour itself “a cup of ambition” and get to work.
