Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have matched one of the biggest records in UK chart history after their hit collaboration Rein Me In returned to Number One on the Official Singles Chart for a 14th non-consecutive week.
The song climbs three places to reclaim the top spot, bringing its total time at Number One level with Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody and Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You. The achievement places Rein Me In among the longest-running chart-toppers in the history of the Official Singles Chart.
Rein Me In joins an elite group of UK Number One singles
With 14 weeks at Number One, Rein Me In now sits alongside two of the UK’s most successful singles ever released.
If the track remains at the summit for a 15th week, it will equal Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around, which holds the record for the most weeks spent at Number One by a British single.
The latest milestone continues an extraordinary chart run for Sam Fender and Olivia Dean, whose collaboration has become one of the defining British releases of 2026.
A landmark achievement for both artists
The return to Number One further strengthens the commercial success of both artists, with Rein Me In becoming one of the biggest-selling and most-streamed UK singles of the year.
