Blue Note Jazz Club To Open First UK Venue In London This September

Blue Note Jazz Club London

The Blue Note Jazz Club will open its first UK venue in London’s Covent Garden on 23 September 2026, bringing the world-famous jazz brand to the capital for the first time. Located on St Martin’s Lane in the West End, the new venue will launch on what would have been John Coltrane’s 100th birthday.

The opening season will feature performances from Grammy-winning artists, leading names from the UK jazz scene, and emerging talent, with tickets going on general sale on 14 August 2026.

Blue Note London will feature two performance spaces

The new Blue Note Jazz Club has been designed as a purpose-built live music venue with two dedicated performance spaces.

The main room will accommodate 250 guests and host two shows each evening at 7:00pm and 9:30pm. A second, 100-capacity venue, known as B-Side, will focus on showcasing emerging UK artists and new talent.

The venue has been designed by Legeard Studio, combining custom-built acoustics with Blue Note’s signature interior style, alongside an international dining menu and cocktail programme.

Robert Glasper to headline opening week

Five-time Grammy Award winner Robert Glasper will headline the club’s opening nights on 23 and 24 September 2026.

Glasper, who also serves as the London venue’s creative ambassador, is scheduled to return for a further seven-show residency during November.
