Noel Gallagher Hints At Oasis Shows In Summer 2027

Noel Gallagher has hinted that Oasis could return to the stage in summer 2027, adding fuel to growing rumours that the Britpop band’s reunion will continue with a new run of shows.

The Oasis guitarist and songwriter addressed the speculation during an appearance on talkSPORT’s Drive on Wednesday 2 September 2026, after presenter Andy Goldstein raised reports that the band could announce new tour dates within days.

Asked about his brother Liam Gallagher, Noel joked:

“It’s Liam, isn’t it?”

He then teased that Liam was supposedly no longer interested in Oasis.

“He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore.”

When Goldstein mentioned Liam’s apparent joke about leaving social media, Noel replied:

“Well, then there must be something happening.”

The biggest hint came when Noel pointed towards next summer.

“Let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?”

Oasis reunion rumours gather pace

Noel’s comments come as speculation continues to build around Oasis following their hugely successful Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour.

The tour marked the first time Noel and Liam had performed together as Oasis in 16 years, after Noel left the band in 2009 following their backstage confrontation at Rock en Seine in Paris.

The 2025 reunion shows sold out rapidly, with demand becoming so intense that Ticketmaster experienced technical problems during the initial ticket sale.

The resulting controversy led to a consumer-protection investigation and changes to Ticketmaster’s approach to major ticket sales.

Could Oasis return to Knebworth?

One of the biggest rumours surrounding a potential Oasis 2027 tour involves Knebworth, where the band performed two landmark concerts in August 1996.

Reports have suggested that Oasis could return to the Hertfordshire site for six shows in September 2027, potentially making the proposed run substantially larger than their original Knebworth concerts.

There have also been reports of a lengthy Manchester residency at the Etihad Stadium.

According to The Sun‘s Bizarre column, an unnamed source claimed that the proposed schedule includes 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across six weeks beginning in June, followed by six Knebworth shows over three weeks in September.

“Oasis’ schedule is booked. It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June.”

The source added:

“They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. Dates could be added but for now that’s the master plan.”

Those dates have not been officially announced by Oasis.

When could Oasis announce a 2027 tour?

A report from the Daily Mail has claimed that Noel and Liam are preparing to formally announce new tour dates next week.

An unnamed source told the newspaper that the proposed tour has been in development for some time and suggested the brothers are now comfortable with their return to the stage.

“The new tour has been in the making for some time and now they’re ready to get going with it.”

The source also claimed that there is less uncertainty surrounding the brothers’ relationship than before the 2025 reunion.

“Unlike last time there’s not such a panic about whether Liam and Noel will get on, there isn’t the drama around it. It’s just a case of them looking forward to getting on stage.”

The source concluded:

“Oasis-mania is coming back!”

Oasis have not officially confirmed the reported 2027 dates, the Etihad Stadium residency or a return to Knebworth.
