Macklemore has announced a new Free Palestine Tour following his removal from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour, with the first three dates set for Dublin, Paris and London in October.
The Grammy-winning rapper will begin the run at Dublin’s 3Arena on 26 October 2026, followed by Paris’ Accor Arena on 29 October and OVO Arena Wembley in London on 30 October. Macklemore says all proceeds from the concerts will benefit organisations supporting Palestinians.
Macklemore announces three-date European run
Macklemore announced the shows on 24 September, describing them as a series of performances bringing together artists and friends who have used their platforms in support of Palestinians.
The initial dates are:
- 26 October: 3Arena, Dublin
- 29 October: Accor Arena, Paris
- 30 October: OVO Arena Wembley, London
Additional cities, including dates in the US, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The supporting artists have not yet been confirmed.
Macklemore said:
“If these last couple of weeks have shown us anything, it’s that something has shifted over the last three years.”
“There has been a collective awakening around Palestinian liberation, the power of billionaires that try to censor that call, and what we expect from artists right now.”
The rapper said his schedule had “freed up a bit” and that he had been contacting artists who had used their stages to show solidarity with Palestinians.
“It’s 2026. Being apolitical during a genocide doesn’t work anymore.”
He also addressed the wider debate around the music industry and the circumstances surrounding his departure from Sheeran’s tour.
“What happened to me is bigger than one artist or one stage. When the billionaire class can decide which voices are allowed on stage and which ones are too dangerous to hear, everyone should be paying attention.”

Macklemore will be joined by other artists and friends, although the lineup is still being finalised.
Organisers say the concerts will centre Palestine and Palestinians while raising money for humanitarian aid and other organisations supporting Palestinians.
The organisations listed to benefit include Anera, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Heal Palestine, Medical Aid for Palestinians, the Palestinian Youth Movement, the Middle East Children’s Alliance, Palestinian Youth Movement, Jewish Voice for Peace, the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund and UNRWA USA, among others.
Why was Macklemore removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour?
Macklemore was removed from the remaining US dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour earlier in September after making pro-Palestinian comments during performances at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
During his 4 September appearance, Macklemore told the audience he wanted people in Gaza and the occupied West Bank to know they had not been forgotten. He also led the crowd in saying “Free Palestine”.
At his second MetLife performance on 5 September, he continued discussing Palestine and addressed Jewish members of the audience, saying his criticism of Israel was not criticism of Jewish people.
Sheeran subsequently said the decision to remove Macklemore had been driven by the tour promoter and pressure from venue owners, rather than being a decision he had made alone. The controversy also resulted in the other support acts for the US leg withdrawing from the tour in solidarity with Macklemore.
Sheeran later addressed the controversy during a Philadelphia performance, describing the situation in Gaza as “catastrophic and unjustifiable” while reiterating his intention to keep his concerts focused on unity and music.

Tickets for the Dublin show are scheduled to go on general sale on 30 September 2026 at 10am, with prices listed at €67.65 and €77.20, plus applicable Ticketmaster service charges.
