Backstreet Boys are reportedly planning to bring their current European run to the UK in 2027, with a major London show at The O2 Arena among the dates being discussed. The group are currently taking their Millennium residency to Germany following its extended run at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Backstreet Boys reportedly planning London show
The band began their 10-night residency in Düsseldorf on Friday 25 September 2026, with the German dates scheduled to run into October.
According to The Sun, Backstreet Boys are now planning UK dates for 2027, including a show at London’s O2 Arena. The reported concert would form part of the venue’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
A source told the newspaper’s Bizarre column:
“Backstreet’s back – and they’re coming to London. All the details are under lock and key but the residency means the guys are on top form and are ready to head out on tour.
“The concerts will take place next year, with one at London’s O2 Arena which will make up part of the venue’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
“The lads are beyond excited about this and have been working so hard.”
No official UK dates have been announced by Backstreet Boys at this stage.
Germany brings the group full circle
The Düsseldorf residency follows the band’s extended Millennium run at the Las Vegas Sphere, where they have been performing their classic material for fans.
Germany also has particular significance for the group. Brian Littrell previously described returning to the country as a major moment for the band, reflecting on the success they found there during the 1990s.
“[Germany] is where our dream became a reality. These concerts bring things full circle for us.”
The group’s current lineup features Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson.
Backstreet Boys want Super Bowl halftime show
The reported UK plans come as Backstreet Boys have also spoken about another major performance opportunity: the 2027 Super Bowl halftime show.
During their Las Vegas Sphere residency, AJ McLean asked the audience whether they would like to see the group headline the Super Bowl in 2027.
“What do you guys think? Backstreet Boys: 2027 Super Bowl Halftime? Let’s make it happen!
“I mean, why not? It’s in Los Angeles, it’s right down the street.”
The 2027 Super Bowl is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Backstreet Boys previously turned down the opportunity to headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2001, instead performing the US national anthem.
For now, the group’s reported UK plans remain unconfirmed, while their European schedule continues with the Düsseldorf residency.
