Ariana Grande brought Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo on stage at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday 16 August 2026, for a surprise performance of “For Good” during her Eternal Sunshine tour.

Grande introduced Erivo during the second of her London shows, prompting a huge reaction from the O2 Arena crowd.
The pair performed “For Good”, their duet from the Wicked films, before joining forces again for “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again”.
A source told The Sun:
“The crowd absolutely lost their minds when Cynthia came on stage for the Wicked reunion.”
“Cynthia and Ariana couldn’t stop beaming as they were reunited to sing For Good. It was almost the end of the concert and everyone was shocked.”
Grande is scheduled to perform eight more shows at the O2 Arena, with her Eternal Sunshine tour due to conclude on 1 September.
The London concerts are also being filmed for an upcoming concert special.
Ariana Grande plans break after tour
The surprise reunion came shortly after Grande confirmed she plans to step back from public-facing work once the tour ends.
During her Chicago show last week, Grande told fans the decision had been planned well before recent online discussion about her appearance.
“The announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing. It is something that I had decided to plan. It was a thoughtful decision. It was an empowering decision. I made it quietly, a long time ago.”
Grande also rejected suggestions that social media criticism about her body had influenced the decision.
“No matter what noises exist out there, nothing will be able to distort my reality or be more real to me … as this love that we share.”
She described the Eternal Sunshine tour as:
“One of the most healing, beautiful, correct and special experiences”
Her representatives previously confirmed that she intends to take a break from public appearances after completing the tour.
