*NSYNC have revealed they recorded an entire album of unreleased songs that may still exist in private collections or a record label vault.
The group lost control of the recordings after splitting with former manager Lou Pearlman and his Trans Continental label in the late 1990s. They subsequently started again with their 2000 album No Strings Attached.

Joey Fatone told People that the group recorded a full album before leaving Pearlman, but never received the rights to the songs.
“There’s a whole CD, because after we dispersed from [former manager Lou Pearlman], he owned the rights to the whole album that we recorded, and that’s why we didn’t get any of those.”
“That’s why we started with [the] No Strings Attached album, we had to redo and just do a whole new album.”
Fatone believes around 12 or 13 songs from those sessions could still be circulating, with some potentially having been released by the songwriters.
“There’s copies floating around and… the writers have either released it or put it somewhere.”
Lance Bass believes other recordings may simply be sitting in a vault. He singled out a song called “Tanya”, which he suggested could have been a hit.
Fatone, however, was less enthusiastic about the track.
“[It was] a song that had different names every chorus.”
“It wasn’t that good. It made it nowhere.”
Is another *NSYNC reunion planned?
*NSYNC split in 2001 but have reunited several times, most recently when the group joined Justin Timberlake during his 2024 Los Angeles concert.
Bass said there is still “always a chance” of another reunion, although nothing is currently planned.
Fatone has previously said he would be ready to reunite, but acknowledged that other members have different priorities, including raising young children. Timberlake has also recently completed a tour.
