Green Man Festival 2025 delivered one of its most memorable Saturdays to date, as a sun-soaked crowd gathered for a full day of standout performances in the Brecon Beacons. The moment that will be remembered for years to come belonged to Irish pop phenomenon CMAT, who made her long-awaited Welsh debut on the Mountain Stage and drew one of the biggest audiences in the festival’s history.
Draped in a Welsh flag and visibly moved by the reception, CMAT described the show as “one of the best of her life.” The singer, known for blending sharp humour with emotional honesty, had thousands dancing to favourites including “I Wanna Be A Cowboy, Baby!” and “Take A Sexy Picture of Me.” Her playful banter and commanding stage presence confirmed why she has become one of the most talked-about new artists in Europe.
“This is genuinely one of the best shows of my life,” CMAT told the crowd, as fans erupted in cheers.
The Irish star’s performance was more than a debut, it was a statement. By pulling one of Green Man’s largest ever crowds, CMAT cemented her status as a must-see festival act and underlined her growing international profile.
