French Montana Confirms Engagement To Dubai Princess Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum

French Montana is officially set to marry into Dubai’s royal family.

A representative for the rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, confirmed to TMZ that he is engaged to Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum, daughter of Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The engagement reportedly took place in Paris during Fashion Week in June 2025, although neither French Montana nor Sheikha Mahra has commented publicly on the proposal.

“Both sides of their families are excited,” a source close to the couple told TMZ.

Who is Sheikha Mahra Al Maktoum?

Sheikha Mahra, 31, is a well-known member of Dubai’s ruling family and has attracted global attention in recent years. In July 2024, she announced her divorce from Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum via Instagram, ending a marriage that had lasted just over a year.

Her father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai.

French Montana’s past relationships

French Montana, 40, was previously married to Deen Kharbouch from 2007 until their divorce in 2014. The former couple share a 16-year-old son named Kruz. Over the years, the Morocco-born artist has also been romantically linked with Khloé Kardashian and Iggy Azalea.

When did French Montana and Sheikha Mahra start dating?

Reports suggest the pair began dating in late 2024, keeping much of their relationship private until now.

The news of their engagement has already sparked global media interest, with speculation building around when and where the wedding might take place. If the celebrations are held in Dubai, it would be one of the most high-profile celebrity-royal unions in recent memory.
