Dubai’s biggest live music competition is back, with Jack Daniel’s Battle Of The Bands 2026 set to showcase the UAE’s best emerging artists across five weeks of live performances.
The competition begins on Wednesday 12 August 2026, at Bla Bla by McGettigan’s in JBR, where the first heat will kick off a month-long search for the UAE’s next standout band. Four qualifying heats will lead to the Grand Final on 9 September 2026, with the winners earning a trip to Nashville and the chance to record their own single.
Dubai’s biggest live band competition returns
Now celebrating its 10th edition, Jack Daniel’s Battle Of The Bands has become one of the UAE’s leading platforms for up-and-coming musicians.
Each Wednesday, competing bands will perform live in front of industry judges and a public audience, with the strongest acts progressing to the Grand Final.
The 2026 competition schedule is:
- Heat 1: Wednesday 12 August
- Heat 2: Wednesday 19 August
- Heat 3: Wednesday 26 August
- Heat 4: Wednesday 2 September
- Grand Final: Wednesday 9 September
Performances begin at 8pm, with an after-party continuing until 3am. The event is open to guests aged 21 and over.
Winning band heads to Nashville
The overall winners will receive an all-expenses-paid music experience in the United States.
The prize includes:
- A trip to the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee
- A professional recording session in Nashville, widely known as Music City
- The opportunity to record an original single
Throughout the competition, attendees can also expect brand activations, giveaways, exclusive Jack Daniel’s merchandise and live entertainment beyond the performances.

Entry to every heat is free through the official guest list, although advance booking is recommended due to expected demand.
