Pussycat Dolls have cancelled most of the North American leg of their 2026 reunion tour after weak ticket sales, with only one US date set to go ahead.
The group, featuring Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, confirmed the decision in a statement, saying they had taken an “honest look” at the situation before pulling the shows.
North American dates cancelled, Pride show remains
The Dolls had been scheduled to perform 33 dates across the US and Canada in June, July and August. Those shows have now been cancelled, with the exception of their appearance at WeHo Pride on 6 June.
In a statement, the group said:
“after taking an honest look”
“the difficult and heartbreaking decision”
They added:
“We could not think of a more meaningful place to celebrate with our fans,”
“The LGBTQ+ community has shown us so much love and support throughout our career.”
European tour dates still going ahead
The group confirmed that all European shows will proceed as planned, with several dates already sold out. The tour begins in Copenhagen in September before moving across the UK and Ireland.
UK and Ireland dates include Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Dublin, Glasgow, Newcastle and Manchester, before concluding at The O2 Arena on October 13.
The group said:
“We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time,”
Ticket pricing and venue size cited
Fans had already speculated about cancellations after seating maps for several US venues showed large sections unsold. Industry factors including high ticket prices and the decision to book arena-sized venues rather than smaller theatres are understood to have contributed to the slow sales.
In contrast, demand in Europe has been significantly stronger, reflecting the group’s sustained popularity in the region. Both Roberts and Wyatt are now based in the UK.
Latest setback after delayed reunion
The 2026 tour marks another attempt at a comeback following a previously planned reunion that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a legal dispute.
It also follows Scherzinger’s recent stage success in Sunset Boulevard in London’s West End and on Broadway.
Known for hits including Don’t Cha, Buttons and I Don’t Need A Man, the Pussycat Dolls remain one of the defining pop groups of the 2000s, with their strongest fanbase now reflected in European ticket sales.
