British Asian artist Saloni has been named the Emerging Artist Award winner at the 2026 Music Ally Artist Ally Accelerator, following a competitive selection process spotlighting rising global talent.
The announcement was made on 30 April 2026 during the official showcase session led by Marlen Hüllbrock and Jubilee Munangati.
Why Saloni stood out
Saloni was selected for the top honour based on her growing traction across multiple markets and her clear long-term strategy as an independent artist.
Marlen Hüllbrock, Director of Marketing & Strategy, Music Ally, highlighted Saloni’s ability to build momentum both in the UK and India, alongside her understanding of the modern music business.
“She impressed us because she’s been able to get some traction in both the UK and India, for example, playing some live shows, also being on national TV. She has really clear goals and understands that diversified income streams are necessary and has the drive to get there.”

- A featured profile across Music Ally and Artist Ally platforms
- A spotlight feature on the Focus podcast
- A physical award recognising her achievement
Artist Ally Accelerator selectees
Saloni was one of five artists selected for the Artist Ally Accelerator programme, which provides tailored industry support including mentoring, a Music Ally Pro subscription, and equipment from Roland.
The other shortlisted artists included:

- Anlil
The Artist Ally Accelerator is designed to support independent artists at a key stage in their development, offering access to industry expertise, tools, and global exposure.
