Shakira was one of the biggest winners at Premios Juventud 2026, taking home three awards at the annual Spanish-language ceremony in Marbella, Spain, on Thursday 3 September 2026.
The Colombian superstar won Premios Juventud Female Artist, OMG Collaboration for “Dai Dai” with Burna Boy, and Best Pop Song for “Bésame” with Alejandro Sanz.
The 2026 ceremony was broadcast live from the Starlight Amphitheatre in Marbella and marked the first time Premios Juventud has been held in Europe.
Shakira leads Premios Juventud 2026 winners
Shakira‘s three awards came across major categories celebrating her work as a solo artist and her collaborations with other leading names in Latin music.
Her win for Premios Juventud Female Artist recognised her continued popularity with the show’s fan-voted audience.
She also picked up OMG Collaboration alongside Burna Boy for “Dai Dai”, while “Bésame”, her collaboration with Alejandro Sanz, won Best Pop Song.
The results underline the continued reach of Shakira’s music across Latin pop and the wider global Spanish-language market.
Bad Bunny wins two awards
Bad Bunny also enjoyed a successful night, winning Premios Juventud Male Artist and Best Tour for his Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour.
The Puerto Rican star’s two awards added to a strong night for Latin music’s biggest names.
Prince Royce and Romeo Santos jointly collected three awards connected to their collaborative project Better Late Than Never.
Other winners included Karol G, Maluma, Daddy Yankee and Angelique Boyer.
Antonio Banderas and other stars receive Agent of Change Award
Premios Juventud also recognised figures from music and entertainment with its Agent of Change Award.
This year’s recipients were Antonio Banderas, Marc Anthony, Yandel and La Oreja de Van Gogh.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Spanish television presenter Jesús Vázquez.
Premios Juventud comes to Europe for the first time
Premios Juventud is an annual Spanish-language awards show celebrating Hispanic and Latino talent across music, sports, fashion, film and wider popular culture.
Unlike many industry-voted awards, the winners are selected by fans through online voting.
The 2026 ceremony represented a significant change for the event, taking place in Europe for the first time after a week of Premios Juventud-related events staged in cities around the world.
With Marbella providing the setting for the main ceremony, the event brought some of the biggest names in Latin and Spanish-language entertainment together for its 2026 edition.
