The Corrs have cancelled their Abu Dhabi concert at Etihad Arena, which was scheduled for 27 September 2026. The Irish sibling band announced the cancellation on Instagram on 19 August, citing “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control”. The Corrs were due to perform at Etihad Arena on Sunday 27 September but the concert will no longer take place.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the band apologised to fans and confirmed that refunds would be available through the original ticketing provider.
“We’re very sorry to share that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, our show at Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi on 27th September has been cancelled. We know many of you were planning to join us and hope to see you again soon. Refunds will be available from the original point of purchase.”
The band has not announced a replacement date or provided further details about the circumstances behind the cancellation.
Fans who purchased tickets should receive refund information from the platform where their tickets were originally bought.
More Abu Dhabi concerts have been cancelled
The Corrs’ cancellation follows two other major Abu Dhabi music cancellations announced this week.
Christina Aguilera’s concert at Etihad Arena, originally scheduled for 25 September, was cancelled on 18 August. Ticketmaster said refunds would be processed automatically through the original payment method within 21 working days. No reason was given and no replacement date was announced.
OFFLIMITS Music Festival 2026 was also cancelled, with organisers confirming that all tickets would be automatically refunded through the original ticketing platform.
The festival had been scheduled for 21 November at Etihad Park on Yas Island after being moved from its original April date. Shakira, the Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo and Biffy Clyro had been announced as headliners.
OFFLIMITS organisers said the festival would return to Abu Dhabi in 2027, although no date or lineup has been announced.
Abu Dhabi concerts still scheduled for 2026
Despite the recent cancellations, several major concerts remain on Abu Dhabi’s 2026 calendar.
Hans Zimmer is scheduled to perform on 13 November, while Andrea Bocelli is due to perform on 2 December during Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race week.
Fans should check directly with the relevant venue or ticketing provider for the latest information before travelling, as live event schedules can change.
