Madonna Surprise Club Set West Hollywood: New Music And Confessions II Teased

Madonna In West Hollywood Club

Madonna made an unannounced appearance at The Abbey in West Hollywood on Saturday night, 25 April 2026, delivering a surprise 1am set and previewing new material from her upcoming album Confessions II.

The invite-only event, billed as Club Confessions Los Angeles, saw Madonna step into the DJ booth alongside long-time collaborator Stuart Price, with Addison Rae joining them as the packed crowd reacted instantly.

Earlier in the night, sets from Romy and Mez Monty had already built momentum, but the atmosphere shifted as soon as Madonna took control of the room.

“Hello children, mutha is here to save you. Are you ready to dance for me? Come on, meet me on the dancefloor. Alright, let’s go gays, come on! Don’t let me down, gays. Gay for the gays! Whoo!”

New music from Confessions II revealed

During the set, Stuart Price played the lead single I Feel So Free before introducing two unreleased tracks, including one titled Freedom. He also dropped a new mix of Hung Up, referencing Madonna’s 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, which the upcoming project revisits thematically.

Addison Rae, wearing a Catwoman-style eye mask, heightened the energy during I Feel So Free. In widely shared fan footage, she is seen holding onto the microphone as Madonna attempts to take it back, adding to the night’s viral moments.

Surprise performance fuels tour speculation

The appearance comes amid growing speculation around Madonna’s next tour. Her manager, Guy Oseary, recently addressed reports stemming from a Variety interview, clarifying her live plans.

“Of course she will tour again. She wants to share her music with her fans. Not sure yet the plans. Stay tuned!”

Madonna’s last major run, The Celebration Tour, concluded in May 2024. Since then, interest in her return to the stage has increased, particularly following her recent guest appearance at Coachella.

At the festival, she reunited on stage with Sabrina Carpenter, performing Vogue, Like A Prayer, and a new track from Confessions II, marking 20 years since her first Coachella performance.

Album release date confirmed

Confessions II is set for release on 3 July 2026 and will be Madonna’s 15th studio album, as well as her first since 2019’s Madame X. The project also marks her renewed partnership with Warner Records.

Speaking about the reunion last year, Madonna said:

“Since the beginning Warner Records has been a real partner with me. I am happy to be reunited and look forward to the future, making music, doing the unexpected while perhaps provoking a few needed conversations.”
