BTS have turned Las Vegas into the centre of a major fan celebration, combining a sold-out stadium run with a citywide programme of concerts, themed events, nightlife and interactive experiences.

The global K-pop group are currently performing a four-night residency at Allegiant Stadium, which began on 23 May and is expected to attract around 250,000 fans from across the world.

BTS launch Las Vegas stadium run

The opening night featured a 360-degree in-the-round stage production designed to place fans around the performance from every angle.

The setlist included tracks such as Permission to Dance and Go Go, both of which previously featured during the group’s 2022 Las Vegas performances.

One of the standout moments came during a performance of “Body to Body”, when thousands of fans joined together to sing the Korean folk song “Arirang”, creating one of the most talked-about moments of the opening night.

Las Vegas strip joins the BTS celebrations

The concerts are part of a larger “urban concert playpark” project running from 20 May to 31 May, designed to extend the BTS experience across Las Vegas rather than limiting it to the stadium itself.

Hotels, restaurants, retail locations and entertainment venues across the city are participating in the initiative, with themed experiences aimed at both visiting BTS fans and tourists already in Las Vegas.

In partnership with local tourism officials, parts of the Las Vegas Strip are being illuminated in the tour’s signature red colour following each concert night.

The city’s iconic Sphere is also displaying BTS-themed visuals on its massive exterior screen as part of the celebrations.

Themed events, merch and fan experiences across the city

The wider event programme includes fireworks displays, official after-parties at nightlife venues, themed restaurant menus and a BTS-branded monorail operating across the city.

Fans can also visit a dedicated merchandise pop-up store and explore a digital art exhibition featuring visual works synchronised with the group’s music.

Organisers have released official digital maps and schedules online to help visitors navigate the various events taking place throughout the city during the residency.

The Las Vegas takeover reflects the growing scale of live K-pop tourism, where concerts increasingly expand into full destination events that drive hotel bookings, nightlife, retail activity and international travel.
