ZAYN Expands ‘KONNAKOL’ With Surprise Deluxe Edition Featuring Three New Songs

ZAYN has surprised fans with an expanded deluxe edition of his fifth studio album, KONNAKOL, adding three brand-new tracks just weeks after the record’s original release.

The updated version includes the new songs Daydreamin’, Bad for You and Raise the Dead, offering listeners a deeper look into the darker, atmospheric world ZAYN has been building throughout the KONNAKOL era.

The deluxe release marks the first new music from the singer since the album dropped last month, while also arriving alongside a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl release of fan favourite Die For Me.

The rollout comes just ahead of The KONNAKOL Tour, which begins in London on 23 May and marks ZAYN’s first major tour in years. The run will continue across the UK before heading to cities including Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires.

The tour plans were recently scaled back following a health scare that saw the 33-year-old hospitalised earlier this year.

In a message shared with fans on Instagram, ZAYN thanked supporters for their “love, prayers, and well wishes” and confirmed he had been recovering at home.

He wrote: “I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour. I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can.”

The singer previously revealed he had been admitted to hospital unexpectedly, forcing him to cancel several fan events tied to the album release.

Posting from his hospital bed at the time, he told followers: “Been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering.”
