Drake has made official UK chart history after becoming the first artist ever to debut three studio albums inside the UK Top 10 at the same time.
The Canadian superstar achieved the unprecedented milestone this week as all three of his latest releases entered the UK albums chart simultaneously, further extending his dominance across streaming and global music markets.
Leading the pack is ICEMAN, which debuted at Number 1 to give Drake his seventh UK chart-topping album. At the same time, MAID OF HONOUR entered at Number 6, while HABIBTI completed the historic run at Number 7.
The achievement brings Drake’s total number of UK Top 10 albums to 17 across his career.
Drake becomes first artist to achieve milestone with studio albums
While other artists have previously occupied multiple positions inside the UK Top 10 albums chart, Drake is the first to do so with three brand new studio albums simultaneously.
The last artist to hold three Top 10 album positions at the same time was Prince in 1993. However, Prince’s chart run came from compilation releases rather than newly released studio albums.
Those records included:
- The Hits / The B-Sides
- The Hits 1
- The Hits 2
Drake’s achievement stands apart because all three charting releases are original studio projects launched within the same campaign cycle.
Seven UK number one albums for Drake
With ICEMAN debuting at Number 1, Drake now has seven UK Number One albums to his name, adding another milestone to one of the most commercially successful careers in modern music.
Across the past decade, Drake has consistently dominated streaming platforms, playlists, and international charts, becoming one of the defining artists of the streaming era.
His UK chart success includes multiple platinum-certified albums and a long run of Top 10 singles across hip-hop, rap, R&B, and pop crossover releases.
Streaming continues to reshape album chart records
Drake’s latest chart sweep also reflects how streaming consumption continues to influence modern chart performance, particularly for artists capable of generating massive first-week global engagement across multiple releases.
Releasing several projects in close succession was once considered commercially risky. In the streaming era, however, major artists with large fanbases can sustain attention across multiple albums simultaneously, especially when playlist placement and algorithmic discovery drive repeat listening.
Drake remains one of the most-streamed artists globally. Earlier this month, Drake became Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2026 in a single day.
