Charli XCX teases mystery album collaboration

While promoting the album, Charli confirmed there is just one featured artist on the record, but says fans are unlikely to work out who it is.

Speaking on French television programme Quotidien, she said:

“There is one collaboration.

“I’m not telling you, but you won’t be able to guess.”

She doubled down on the secrecy, adding:

“I’d bet money on you not guessing. You can try!

“You could have 1000 chances and you still wouldn’t guess.”

Charli and Madonna put feud rumours to rest

Ahead of the album’s release, Charli also made headlines after appearing alongside Madonna during Saint Laurent’s Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show in Paris.

The appearance followed months of online speculation that the pair had fallen out after Charli declared in Rock Music that “the dance floor is dead”, prompting fans to interpret Madonna’s Instagram post as a response.

Madonna wrote:

“If your Dance Floor feels dead Maybe you’re playing the wrong music.”

Any rumours of tension appeared to be short-lived. The pair were later photographed sitting together, embracing and dancing behind the DJ booth at the show’s after-party, where Madonna’s Thief of Hearts and Hung Up were among the songs played.
