Peso Pluma leads the finalists for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 17 nominations, putting the Mexican star at the top of this year’s list.
His nominations include Artist of the Year, Top Latin Album of the Year for Dinastia with Tito Double P, and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo.
Tito Double P follows with 15 nominations, while Fuerza Regida has 12. Karol G has nine nominations, Prince Royce has eight and Bad Bunny has seven.
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will recognise artists across 47 categories covering genres including Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm and regional Mexican music.
Peso Pluma leads Billboard Latin Music awards nominations
Peso Pluma’s 17 nominations reflect his continued prominence across the Latin music landscape.
Among his major categories is Artist of the Year, while his collaboration with Tito Double P on Dinastia earns a nomination for Top Latin Album of the Year.
Pluma is also nominated for Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo.
Tito Double P’s 15 nominations put him second among this year’s finalists, followed by Fuerza Regida with 12.
The three artists lead a field that includes some of the biggest names in contemporary Latin music.
Karol G earns nine nominations
Karol G has nine nominations heading into the 2026 ceremony.
The Colombian superstar is competing for Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year, Solo, among other categories.
Her nominations recognise both her recorded music and success as a live performer.
Prince Royce has eight nominations, including Tropical Artist of the Year, Solo and Top Tropical Album of the Year for Better Late Than Never.
Bad Bunny receives seven nominations
Bad Bunny has seven nominations at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards.
The Puerto Rican superstar is competing in major categories including Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year and Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year.
He is also nominated for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male and Songwriter of the Year.
Bad Bunny topped last year’s list of finalists with a record 27 nominations, making his seven nominations in 2026 a notable change from his record-setting showing in 2025.
When are the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards?
The 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards will be broadcast live from the James L. Knight Center in Miami.
The ceremony will coincide with Billboard Latin Music Week, which is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 22 October 2026.
The awards will feature 47 categories covering the breadth of Latin music, including Latin pop, tropical, Latin rhythm and regional Mexican.
With Peso Pluma leading the nominations and major stars including Karol G, Bad Bunny and Prince Royce among the finalists, the 2026 ceremony will bring together some of the biggest names in Latin music.
